Paris

Over the years of visiting Paris, I’ve gathered memories from its most iconic corners. Sacré-Cœur’s white dome has drawn me repeatedly to Montmartre’s highest point, where this basilica was built from travertine stone that naturally whitens with age.

The French Open at Roland Garros revealed tennis history on its famous red clay courts, made from crushed brick that creates the tournament’s distinctive playing surface. Strolling the Champs-Élysées, I’ve walked along what has been called “the most beautiful avenue in the world,” stretching nearly two kilometers.

The Arc de Triomphe stands as Napoleon’s tribute to his armies, while the Eiffel Tower—originally intended as a temporary structure for the 1889 World’s Fair—has become Paris’s eternal symbol through many visits.
