Venice

Venice captivated me with its maze of canals and bridges connecting many small islands. Walking through the narrow streets felt like stepping into a living museum. The city, built entirely on water, has no cars—only boats navigating the waterways.

My journey extended to Burano, a colorful fishing village just a short boat ride away. This small island, famous for its rainbow-painted houses and traditional lace-making, offered a quieter contrast to Venice’s bustling energy. Each brightly colored home told its own story against the backdrop of peaceful canals.

Both destinations reminded me why Venice remains one of the world’s most unique travel experiences.
